Award-winning Olbrich Botanical Gardens --16 acres of outdoor display gardens and the indoor, tropical Bolz Conservatory. Prairie-style Rose Garden and the only Thai Pavilion and Garden in the continental U.S. Special events, concerts, garden-related classes for adults and kids, gift shop, gardening library, and meeting rooms. Abbey & Natalie’s wedding at Olbrich Botanical Gardens was simply magical- just look at how they glowed! And the gardens! They were like nothing I had ever seen- with every direction you turned, different botanical textures, colors, and patterns would lead your eye to the next gorgeous backdrop.
The Olbrich Botanical Gardens make for a great (free!) summer afternoon. We went during the butterfly bloom, well worth the $7, and enjoyed the surrounding grounds. The gardens are easily walkable, there is also a small bus, and can be viewed in an hour or so. Plenty of spots to grab a seat or read in the quiet.

Our wedding at Olbrich Gardens was perfect. There was supposed to be a 40-60% chance of rain that day, but the weather held long enough for us to have our ceremony outdoors followed by about an hour or so of pictures.
